so this is where it got serious. after about 15 minutes of the rail free for all, jake phelps and jamie thomas picked out 5 guys to skate for 5 minutes for the big money. chris cole, andrew pott, sierra fellers, kechaud johnson and 180 switch crook guy. it turned out to be about 15 more minutes of insane skateboarding. i think the most shocking thing was that this crew was more consistent skating the 11 set than everyone else was skating the ledge. it was winner take all, but if it went in order it would have been: 1 - chris cole, just barely edging out 2 - andrew pott followed closely by 3 - sierra fellers. all three of these guys put down a bunch of tricks down the eleven, hubba and rail that would have been ender enders a few years ago. kechaud came out of nowhere with a nollie kf backside 5-0 down the hubba 2nd try. 180 ss kg tried unsuccessfully to land a 360 kickflip nosegrind down the rail the whole time. as jamie thomas said, “what else do you need? food, people psyched on skating, and sick ass skating. that’s it man.” filmed in jankovision™.
